Parkinson’s Disease

Sometimes, when people get older—like grandmas or grandpas—they can have Parkinson’s Disease.

This disease happens because the brain gets damaged and can’t control movements as well. It’s like the brain is a big command center for the body, just like a computer. If the command center is broken, the “keys” that make the body move don’t work well.

People with Parkinson’s Disease may have shaking in their arms and legs, and their movements can become slow.
